Stewart Applegath and Bell Fraser have been exceeding guests' expectations since 2008; Bell grew up here, and since we live year 'round in Cape Breton, we know the Island well, and the things which make it magical. Our cottages are booked by the week only, but as many of our guests discover, this may only scratch the surface of what you will find here...
Six memorable cottages, with spectacular views of the sea
The biggest hurdle you may face could be choosing the right cottage. On any day, you may see whales and eagles pass by, and other visitors as well; foxes, coyotes, deer and moose all make appearances from time to time. Each cottage has its own spectacular views and charm; others agree–one of the cottages was featured in Canadian House & Home and Victoria magazines; another is listed by DWELL as one of "Eight Outstanding Cottages for Rent in Canada." These Cape-Breton-style, cedar-shingled cottages all have fully equipped kitchens, Fibre-op 150 mb./sec. wifi, spacious decks, and well-considered interiors; two change over on Saturdays, two on Fridays; two on Sundays; five out of six welcome children.
